I am fascinated by how food and our diet affects our mood. Dr. Uma Naidoo founded and directs the first hospital-based nutritional psychiatry service in the United States. She’s the Director of Nutritional and Lifestyle Psychology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Director of Nutritional Psychiatry at MGH Academy.

“We all have to eat. Why not eat in a way that’s going to help our brain?” nutritional psychiatrist says. You are what you eat so it’s not surprising a doctor will advise a proper diet to address everything from heart disease to obesity.
